The Poinsettia (Champagne Cocktail)

This delightful drink is perfect for Christmas morning or a holiday brunch.  I mean, we all love Mimosas, but the holidays calls for something a little different and special 🙂  And what’s more perfect than a drink called, “The Poinsettia?!”

For quick party service, mix the cranberry juice and triple sec and store in a chilled pitcher. When it is time to serve, simply pour from the pitcher into individual glasses and top with Champagne.



  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • 3 ounces cranberry juice
  • Champagne or other sparkling white wine
  • Garnish: frozen cranberries (optional)


Chill all ingredients and glasses beforehand.

Pour the triple sec and cranberry juice into a champagne flute or coupe glass.  Mix well.  Top with Champagne, garnish with frozen cranberries, and serve!
